On a keyboard
- Tab
- Jump to the next blank, box or field
- Shift+Tab
- Back to the one before it
- ↑↓

- Shift+↑↓
- Make it bigger or smaller
- Double‑click
- A text box wherever the page offered you nothing
Hover a blank and it brackets itself, so you can see exactly where it starts and stops before you commit to it.
On a phone
- Back and Next
- Walk through every blank on the page in order, without hunting for them
- The little arrows
- Beside a selected item: nudge it a hair at a time. Hold one down to go further
- Double‑tap
- A text box wherever the page offered you nothing
- Tap, then drag
- One tap picks something up, the next moves it — so scrolling past never grabs it
- Crop
- Drag any edge or corner, then nudge that one edge with the arrows
Add it to your home screen and it opens straight to this page, with or without a signal.
The free PDF tool that lets you finish your document and leave
Someone sent you a PDF. You need to fill in a few blank lines, sign it, and send it back. That is the whole job, and that is the whole app. There is no account to make, no trial to start, no watermark, and no payment screen waiting at the download button.
- Fill a real form — if the PDF has proper fillable fields, they highlight and you just tap one and type. Checkboxes, radio buttons and dropdowns too.
- Type on the lines — and if it has none, tap near a blank line and the text lands on it at the right size. Or drop a text box anywhere and drag it.
- Sign it — draw your signature with a finger, photograph one you wrote on paper, or pick an image you already have. The date and time go underneath automatically.
- Check a box — a clean checkmark or an X, sized for a normal checkbox.
- Black something out — drag a solid black box over anything private. It is baked permanently into the finished page.
- Send it back — save the PDF or hand it straight to Gmail, Outlook, Messages, Drive, or whatever else is on your phone.
Fill & Sign is not a full PDF editor, and it is not trying to be. It does not convert your document, read its contents, or change its layout. It puts what you write on top of the page you already have — and where the document itself says a field belongs, it uses that field.
Add it to your home screen and it keeps working with no signal at all.
